Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Miami on September 9 points to an overnight minimum in the upper 70s to low 80s, aligning with the market's leading 78–81°F bins. A persistent warm, humid air mass with easterly flow and dew points near 78°F limits nocturnal cooling, while scattered afternoon thunderstorms offer little relief. This setup matches climatological September norms around 77°F but reflects the current above-average warmth without incoming cold fronts or stronger winds. Traders appear to weigh the consensus forecast heavily, with implied probabilities concentrated where official outlooks cluster, though model updates or localized rain timing could still nudge the daily minimum slightly.
