Recent polling averages place President Trump's job approval in the high 30s amid sustained public concern over the Iran conflict and its economic fallout, including elevated gas prices. This backdrop keeps week-to-week shifts tightly balanced, with some surveys showing minor rebounds toward 40 percent while others register fresh lows near 33 percent. Trader odds near 50 percent reflect uncertainty over short-term catalysts such as diplomatic signals on the Strait of Hormuz, incoming economic indicators, or administration statements that could produce measurable movement in the next round of national surveys.
