National Weather Service forecasts for September 3 show Los Angeles International Airport reaching a high near 76°F under persistent marine layer influence and onshore flow, aligning closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 76.7°F. This pattern, reinforced by recent observations of 76°F on September 1 and similar conditions on September 2, keeps coastal readings in the mid-70s while limiting stronger inland warming. Trader emphasis on the 76–77°F bin reflects model consensus for stable temperatures without significant heat advection or enhanced fog suppression, though minor shifts in the marine layer depth could still adjust the daily maximum within a narrow range.
