Recent NWS forecasts and model consensus point to an overnight low near 52°F for Seattle on September 4, driven by post-frontal cooling behind an early-September upper-level low drifting southward along the British Columbia coast. This system has introduced increased cloud cover, light showers, and a cooler marine air mass that limits radiational cooling overnight, keeping temperatures close to the historical average low of 55°F while suppressing extremes. Trader sentiment clusters around the 52-53°F bin as the most probable outcome under current guidance, with the elevated probability on 45°F or below reflecting residual uncertainty in exact minimums if clearing allows stronger cooling or if models trend slightly colder. Upcoming NWS updates and refined model runs through September 3 will likely tighten the distribution ahead of resolution.
