Forecast models and real-time observations from agencies monitoring central China indicate a daily maximum near 28°C for Wuhan on September 11 under partly cloudy skies, light northeast winds, and moderate humidity around 40-50%. This aligns with mid-September climatology for the region, where highs typically range 27-30°C absent strong synoptic forcing. Current morning readings near 24-27°C and projected afternoon peaks support the 70.5% market-implied probability for 28°C, with limited upside risk from 29°C given stable atmospheric conditions and no incoming warm advection. Traders appear to weigh the tight forecast spread and historical verification patterns for similar setups when assigning probabilities.
