Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models project sunny skies, southerly winds of 5-10 mph, and a daily high near 100-101°F for Dallas on September 13, well above the 1991-2020 average of 90.3°F amid ongoing late-summer warmth. Persistent high pressure and elevated dew points near 70°F support strong heating without significant cloud cover or precipitation to moderate temperatures, though model consensus shows limited spread around the 100°F threshold. Historical records indicate September 13 highs have reached 100°F or more in several past years, yet current conditions lack the extreme setup seen in record events like 2011. With the day underway and minimal overnight cooling expected, traders appear to weigh the precise peak against these stable atmospheric patterns.
