**Forecast models and official National Weather Service guidance indicate a low near 65°F for Los Angeles on September 2, 2026, aligning closely with the 64–65°F range that dominates trader sentiment at 88.5% implied probability.** Typical early-September conditions feature a persistent marine layer along the coast, with onshore southwest winds and clear to partly cloudy skies limiting overnight radiative cooling and holding minimum temperatures in the mid-60s—near the 1991–2020 climatological average of 64.7°F at downtown and LAX stations. Recent observations from September 1 showed a 66°F low, and no significant shifts in sea-surface temperatures, pressure gradients, or upper-level patterns have emerged to alter this regime. Higher temperatures remain improbable under current stable conditions, while any deviation toward cooler readings would require an unexpected strengthening of offshore flow or clearer skies, factors not supported by the latest model consensus.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=klax
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event which there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
