Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate Miami highs near 88–90°F on September 7 amid a moist tropical airmass with precipitable water values above the 90th percentile for early September. Afternoon sea-breeze and mesoscale boundaries are expected to trigger scattered to numerous thunderstorms, promoting cloud cover and evaporative cooling that typically caps daily maxima in this range. Recent days have seen similar conditions with highs of 89–93°F, and the absence of strong ridging or suppressed convection supports the market-implied 56.5% probability on 90–91°F as the most likely outcome, while the 26% on 92–93°F reflects potential for lighter rainfall allowing slightly warmer readings. Updated model runs and NWS briefings through the weekend will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
