Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance indicates a Saturday high near 64–66°F for New York City, driven by persistent northerly flow advecting cooler maritime air and widespread cloud cover with showers that suppress daytime warming. These conditions produce the tight clustering of market-implied probabilities across the 60–69°F bins, reflecting modest uncertainty in the precise peak amid variable rain timing and boundary-layer mixing. Below-normal readings contrast with the late-September climatological average of roughly 73°F, while rapid updates from the 12Z and 00Z model cycles over the next 48 hours will refine steering and precipitation details ahead of market resolution.
