Recent official forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency and multiple models indicate mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers possible on September 24, limiting daytime heating and supporting a daily maximum near 28°C. Northerly to northwesterly winds and higher humidity further moderate temperatures, consistent with a post-summer cooling pattern. Historical September baselines for Tokyo center around 25–28°C, and current model consensus shows limited upside potential beyond 29°C due to persistent cloud cover. This data distribution underpins the market’s emphasis on 27–29°C outcomes, with the leading 28°C probability reflecting the narrow forecast window two days before resolution. Updated model runs and JMA briefings on the 23rd could refine these odds.
