Recent meteorological forecasts for Shanghai on September 22, 2026, indicate a daily high near 28–29°C under partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with light northeast to east winds and low precipitation chances. This positioning stems from typical late-summer East Asian circulation patterns, including a weakening subtropical high and gradual seasonal cooling, yielding average September highs historically around 27–28°C. Multiple model runs and official outlooks show stable guidance with minimal variability, supporting trader consensus on the 28°C and 29°C outcomes at combined implied probabilities exceeding 90%. No major synoptic shifts, such as typhoon influences or strong fronts, appear imminent based on current observations, though minor forecast adjustments could occur with updated model data.
