Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model runs indicate Seattle's September 24 low will likely settle in the low 50s°F, aligning with the market's top outcomes at 52-53°F and 50-51°F. A marine layer combined with an incoming frontal system is bringing overcast skies, light northeast winds, and a 30% chance of rain mainly after evening, which limits radiative cooling while preventing significant warming. This setup matches climatological norms for late September, when average lows hover near 51.5°F at Sea-Tac. Trader consensus reflects the tight clustering of official guidance around 50-53°F, with lower probabilities assigned to outliers that would require unexpected clear skies or stronger onshore flow. Updated NWS briefings and hourly observations through the overnight period remain the key near-term catalysts.
