Official forecasts from Environment Canada and ensemble models indicate a high near 18°C for Toronto on September 23 under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with moderate easterly winds. This setup stems from a stable high-pressure ridge promoting radiational cooling overnight and limited daytime warming, with surface flow off cooler Great Lakes waters suppressing temperatures slightly below the late-September climatological average of about 20°C. Recent model runs show tight agreement on peak readings between 17–19°C, with minimal precipitation risk and no significant frontal passages expected. Trader consensus at 19°C (54.5%) and 18°C (39%) aligns with this guidance, though small forecast revisions could shift resolution between those bins as new data arrive.
