Current National Weather Service and model guidance indicate persistent ridging over Texas will sustain unseasonably warm conditions into September 24, with Austin highs forecast near 95–97°F under partly cloudy skies and light easterly flow. This above-average pattern, roughly 6–8°F warmer than the 1991–2020 climatological mean of 89°F, underpins the tight clustering of market-implied odds around the 94–99°F bins. Ensemble spread in cloud cover, boundary-layer moisture, and subtle steering differences creates the modest uncertainty separating the leading outcomes, while limited precipitation chances reduce cooling potential. Updated model runs and National Weather Service briefings over the next 48 hours will likely refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
