This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Buckley Space Force Base Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 3 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kbkf This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Trader consensus strongly favors a 56-57°F low for Denver on September 3, 2026 (93% implied probability), with 54-55°F a distant second at 10%.** Official National Weather Service observations recorded a minimum of 54°F early on September 3 at Denver stations, aligning closely with the normal low of 54°F for the date and recent days (e.g., 59°F on Sept 1 and 62°F on Sept 2). This positioning reflects stable early-September conditions: above-normal daytime highs near 92°F under mostly clear skies, light variable winds, and no significant cold fronts or moisture to enhance radiative cooling overnight. Model guidance and climatological baselines supported overnight temperatures settling in the mid-50s, consistent with Denver’s typical early-fall pattern of gradual seasonal decline from summer peaks without abrupt drops. The near-certainty in the 56-57°F range stems from consistent observational trends and forecast agreement through the period, with traders assigning high confidence to this narrow band given the absence of anomalous atmospheric drivers. A realistic challenge would require an unforecasted surge in clear-sky radiational cooling or a late-arriving northerly flow, though neither materialized in official data or preceding model runs.
