Recent enforcement actions, such as federal fraud crackdowns and ICE operations targeting criminal networks in 2026, illustrate active use of prosecutorial tools. Domestic political tensions, Senate dynamics, and potential DOJ priorities through year-end influence assessments of near-term arrests.
