Early polls for Minas Gerais's two open Senate seats show a fragmented field with Marília Campos (PT), Domingos Sávio (PL), Carlos Viana (PSD), and Marcelo Aro (PP) locked in technical ties near the top, reflecting broad voter indecision two months before the October 4 vote. Recent candidate registrations and party conventions have locked in a crowded ballot that includes left-leaning options such as Áurea Carolina (PSOL) alongside centrists and conservatives, diluting support and sustaining tight probabilities for second place. Coalition negotiations, name recognition from prior executive roles, and regional turnout patterns in this bellwether state continue to shape trader assessments, with limited movement since the registration window closed. Separation could emerge from late polling shifts, alliance announcements, or turnout surges among specific voter blocs ahead of election day.
