**Market-implied odds favor a September 23 high of 36°C or 37°C, reflecting official Pakistan Meteorological Department guidance and model consensus for a peak near 36°C.** After Karachi recorded an extreme 40.7°C on September 21—surpassing the prior nine-year September mark—westerly sea breezes and slightly cooler advection are expected to moderate daytime heating. Forecasts from the Met Office and other sources consistently project a maximum of 36°C under clear skies with moderate humidity and winds around 10–15 mph, keeping the official daily high in the narrow 35–37°C range. The close 36–37°C split captures minor differences in station readings and exact timing of peak warmth, while lower probabilities for 35°C or 38°C+ reflect limited upside from renewed heat or downside from stronger breezes. Final resolution will hinge on the PMD’s verified maximum from primary Karachi stations.
