Eli Savit holds the leading position among traders as the Democratic nominee for Michigan attorney general in the November 3 general election, reflecting the state's recent pattern of Democratic performance in statewide contests and his selection at the August party convention after an April endorsement win. Doug Lloyd, the Republican nominee chosen at his party's earlier conventions, trails amid the open seat created by term-limited incumbent Dana Nessel. Minor-party and other outcomes register lower implied probabilities consistent with historical vote shares. A July campaign finance review involving Savit's use of county resources introduced some uncertainty but has not altered the broader positioning ahead of the fall campaign period.
