Recent National Weather Service forecasts for downtown Los Angeles project sunny conditions on September 2 with highs in the mid-70s to mid-80s °F under southwest winds around 15 mph, aligning closely with the historical average high near 77 °F. This stable pattern, absent any marine layer strengthening or offshore flow that could shift temperatures, underpins trader consensus favoring the 76–79 °F bins. Model runs show limited spread, with peak readings most likely occurring in the afternoon amid clear skies and moderate humidity. Updated guidance expected from the Los Angeles/Oxnard office will provide the final verification data for market resolution.
