Recent National Weather Service and private forecasts for Miami on September 1 project daytime highs near 88–90°F amid high humidity and 60–70% chances of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. These conditions align with the market’s leading 90–91°F bin at 44% implied probability. Persistent easterly flow and typical late-summer convective patterns—driven by strong surface heating and moisture—commonly cap peak temperatures through cloud cover and evaporative cooling, keeping readings close to the long-term September average of 89°F. Updated model runs show limited upside risk above 92°F absent an unexpected suppression of storms, while downside scenarios below 88°F remain possible only with earlier or heavier rainfall.
