**Market-implied odds center on 66–69°F because official National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble models project a high near 66–68°F for San Francisco on August 29, 2026.** Persistent northwest winds of 10–20 mph and a moderate marine layer will limit daytime heating along the coast, keeping temperatures close to the long-term average high of ~70°F while preventing any significant inland warming. Recent model runs show only minor differences in cloud timing and wind strength that separate the closely bunched 64–65°F, 66–67°F, and 68–69°F bins. With no heatwave or anomalous offshore flow expected, traders have placed the bulk of probability on this narrow, climatologically typical range.
