Recent forecasts from GFS and ECMWF runs indicate a high near 25–26°C in Milan on September 16, driven by an approaching low-pressure system and associated front that will bring scattered thunderstorms and 2–22 mm of rain, limiting daytime heating after an initial warm start. This positions 26°C and 27°C as the leading market outcomes at 31% and 41.5% implied probability, respectively, while 28°C remains plausible if convective activity is delayed. The shift follows several days of clearer, warmer conditions with highs near 28°C on September 14–15. Traders are weighting the consensus across ensemble members and the timing of precipitation onset, which can suppress the daily maximum by several degrees. Updated model guidance and official Italian meteorological bulletins in the next 24–48 hours will likely refine these odds ahead of resolution.
