Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a Friday high near 71°F for San Francisco, supported by moderate onshore westerly flow and a shallow marine layer that limits afternoon warming. This aligns with the late-September climatological average of roughly 71°F and follows a period of gradually cooling conditions after earlier warmth earlier in the month. Light to moderate west winds and mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected to keep the daily maximum in the upper 60s to low 70s, with limited potential for brief exceedances if the marine influence weakens. Trader consensus around the 70-71°F bin reflects this narrow forecast range, while nearby bins capture typical model spread and resolution uncertainty near the daily peak. Updated NWS briefings and real-time observations on the 25th will provide the final data for market resolution.
