Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate Atlanta will experience another night of limited radiative cooling under clear skies and light winds, with dew points holding near 68–70°F amid a persistent warm high-pressure ridge. These conditions support minimum temperatures in the mid-70s on September 2, keeping the 74–77°F range as the market’s tightest cluster. Slight variations in cloud cover timing, boundary-layer mixing, or localized wind shifts could nudge readings a degree or two either way, while stronger southerly flow or unexpected moisture return would favor the upper end of that band. Historical September averages near 69°F highlight how anomalous the current warmth remains, though no rapid cooling signals appear in the short-term forecast.
