Current National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver on September 3 project a daily low in the low to mid-60s°F under mostly clear skies and weak winds, consistent with a warm, stable air mass and limited radiational cooling. This places the most likely outcome near historical norms for early September but above the 1991–2020 average low of 54°F. Trader positioning shows elevated implied probabilities on both sub-54°F and 72°F+ extremes, reflecting model uncertainty in overnight boundary-layer cooling rates, subtle wind shifts, and any late adjustments to high pressure strength. Ensemble spreads and recent runs highlight how calm conditions could enhance cooling toward the lower bins while any increase in mixing or cloud cover would favor milder readings. Updated model guidance and surface observations through September 2 will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
