Recent forecasts for São Paulo show a cold front advancing through the region on September 1–2, clearing skies and allowing radiational cooling overnight on September 3. Model consensus points to a low near 11–12 °C under mostly clear, light-wind conditions, though some runs indicate stronger nocturnal cooling to 7–9 °C if dew points drop further or winds remain calm. Historical early-September minima average around 13–14 °C, so trader sentiment clusters tightly around 11–12 °C because small differences in boundary-layer moisture, cloud cover, and wind speed can shift the overnight minimum by 2–3 °C. Updated model runs and INMET guidance over the next 48 hours will likely resolve the spread.
