Current short-range model consensus from official meteorological sources points to a minimum temperature in Denver on September 2, 2026, in the upper 50s°F under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies and light winds. Radiative cooling overnight will be moderated by Denver’s high-elevation location, dry late-summer air mass, and absence of strong cold-air advection or cloud cover that would otherwise trap heat. Forecast guidance clusters lows between 56–61 °F, with minor spread arising from differences in boundary-layer mixing and dew-point depression across model runs. This scientific uncertainty range directly explains the tight market clustering around the 56–59 °F buckets while keeping higher outcomes at lower implied probabilities. Updated NWS forecast discussions and next model cycle will provide the key data release likely to resolve remaining variance.
