Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles indicate overnight lows near 70°F on September 6 amid onshore flow and a marine layer that limits radiative cooling, supporting the market's tight clustering around 68–73°F outcomes. Scattered showers and thunderstorms expected during the day may further moderate temperatures by increasing cloud cover and humidity, while recent climatological data show September minimums averaging 64°F but running several degrees above normal this season due to persistent warm advection. Model consensus from NOAA highlights modest uncertainty in exact minimums tied to variable wind patterns and precipitation timing, with traders weighting the 70–71°F bin highest as the most probable resolution under current atmospheric conditions.
