**Recent polling data shows Donald Trump’s net approval rating improving slightly to -19.5 as of September 11, 2026, rebounding from an all-time low of -20.6 amid ongoing pressures from the Iran conflict, elevated energy prices, and voter concerns over the economy and tariffs.** Aggregators such as Silver Bulletin, RealClearPolitics, and others place overall approval in the mid-to-high 30s percent range, with recent surveys including an Economist/YouGov poll (September 4–8) at 37 percent approve and an FT/Focaldata poll at 33 percent. Traders appear to price in a short-term rebound this week on the basis of this marginal stabilization, potential positive signals around trade or diplomatic developments, and the absence of major new negative catalysts immediately following the latest readings. The 70.5 percent implied probability for an increase reflects the wisdom of crowds assessing week-to-week volatility around a low but fluctuating baseline, with historical patterns of modest recoveries after troughs and the influence of any favorable economic or foreign-policy updates within the resolution window. Midterm dynamics and issue-specific ratings on the economy and Iran remain key variables that could shift the trajectory.
