Prevailing southwest monsoon conditions and persistent dry weather across Singapore are positioning the highest temperature on September 7 near 33°C, with official NEA guidance indicating daily maxima of 33–35°C under fair, occasionally windy southeasterly flow. Model consensus from sources such as the Meteorological Service Singapore shows afternoon peaks around 32–34°C, consistent with September climatology where the long-term average maximum is 31.6°C. Limited afternoon convection and minimal cloud cover support the strong market weighting toward 33°C, while the low probabilities for 35°C or higher reflect the narrow window for significant warming before typical thundery showers develop. Updated forecasts in the next 48 hours will refine these implied odds.
