Current meteorological forecasts for Wellington on September 15 converge on a daily maximum of 15–16°C under partly cloudy skies with moderate northerly winds of 25–35 km/h and minimal precipitation risk. This aligns with multiple agency and model outputs, including those showing highs near 16°C and lows around 11°C, positioning 16°C as the leading implied probability. The outlook sits modestly above the September climatological average high of roughly 12.5–13°C, driven by stable atmospheric conditions without significant frontal systems. Model consensus and low uncertainty in short-range guidance support the tight clustering of trader sentiment around these values, with resolution dependent on official MetService or equivalent observations.
