Recent National Weather Service and model guidance points to a Friday overnight low in Atlanta in the mid-to-upper 50s Fahrenheit, driven by clear to partly cloudy skies, light northerly winds, and radiational cooling under a drier air mass following recent frontal activity. This places the most likely outcome near the 56–59°F range, though ensemble spreads introduce modest uncertainty around exact minimums. Historical climatology shows an average low near 63°F and a record low of 49°F, underscoring that current conditions favor below-normal readings without reaching extreme cold. With resolution imminent, traders appear divided on whether subtle shifts in cloud cover or wind could push the official observation across bin thresholds, keeping the 51°F-or-below and 70°F-or-higher outcomes nearly even in implied probability.
