Persistent high pressure and easterly winds have sustained above-average warmth across North Texas, with recent National Weather Service forecasts indicating a Friday night low near 70–74°F for Dallas on September 25. Model consensus shows limited cooling as a positive North Atlantic Oscillation pattern keeps cooler air suppressed northward, consistent with the ongoing late-September heat anomaly that has produced multiple 90°F+ days. While a weak front could introduce minor variability, the primary driver of elevated overnight minima remains the lack of strong advection or cloud cover to enhance radiational cooling. Traders appear to weigh the warm bias heavily, reflected in elevated implied odds for readings at or above 80°F alongside residual probability for sharper drops if steering patterns shift. Updated model runs and NWS briefings over the next 48 hours will provide the next key data points for resolution thresholds.
