Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts point to an overnight low near 55°F in Denver on September 18 under scattered thunderstorms and variable cloud cover, keeping the tightest market probabilities clustered between 54–61°F. Radiational cooling will be moderated by lingering moisture and cloud decks that limit clear-sky heat loss, while Denver’s mile-high elevation and urban heat island influence the floor. Model consensus shows modest spread tied to exact thunderstorm timing and boundary-layer mixing, with any earlier clearing potentially allowing a dip toward 52–53°F and persistent cloud cover holding values near 58–59°F. Traders await the final NWS evening update and real-time observations for resolution.
