Michael Mmoh entered as the trader-favored pick at ATP 248 against Franco Roncadelli (273) in the Savannah Challenger round-of-32 on green clay, buoyed by a semifinal run last week in Tallahassee where he beat Federico Agustin Gomez, Cannon Kingsley, and Hynek Barton before falling to Clement Tabur. Roncadelli brought momentum from a strong clay swing, including a runner-up finish in Asuncion Challenger and multiple wins in Bucaramanga, though he exited early in Santa Cruz. No prior head-to-head existed, with Mmoh holding home-country edge. Roncadelli claimed a 6-1, 3-1 retirement win amid Mmoh's apparent injury flare-up, marking an upset resolution for markets.
