Presidential elections in Bulgaria are expected to be held in the Fall of 2026. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the next presidential election in Bulgaria. This market includes any potential second round. If the result of this election isn't known by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". This market will resolve based on the result of the election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Bulgarian government, specifically the Central Election Commission (Centralna izbiratelna komisia, CEC) (www.cik.bg/).Iliana Iotova holds a commanding position in the October 2026 Bulgarian presidential election as the incumbent acting president, backed by endorsements from the Bulgarian Socialist Party and Rumen Radev’s Progressive Bulgaria following her January 2026 assumption of office after Radev’s resignation. Recent July and early August 2026 opinion polls have shown her approval near or above 50 percent, reflecting voter recognition of her continuity in a post-euro adoption environment and limited organized opposition. Andrey Gyurov trails as a secondary option linked to caretaker government roles, while other listed contenders from parties such as GERB, Revival, and smaller groups register minimal support due to fragmented opposition and the two-round electoral system favoring established frontrunners. Trader consensus aligns with these dynamics, pricing in Iotova’s structural advantages from incumbency and coalition backing with roughly two months until the vote.
