**Latest National Weather Service forecasts and GFS model consensus position Dallas for a high near 100–101°F on September 13 under building high pressure, clear skies, and southerly flow.** Persistent ridging has maintained triple-digit heat indices across North Texas, with minimal overnight cooling and dew points supporting efficient daytime warming. This aligns with the market’s heavy weighting on the 100–101°F bin at 63.5 percent, while the 26.5 percent on 98–99°F reflects minor ensemble spread and potential for slight under-forecasting if boundary-layer mixing strengthens. Historical September averages near 90°F underscore the anomalous warmth, though no fronts or moisture intrusions are expected to alter the outcome before resolution. Traders are monitoring the next NWS update and morning model runs for any last adjustments to maximum temperature guidance.
