This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the San Francisco International Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 13 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=ksfo This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Trader consensus on the San Francisco daily high for September 13, 2026, centers on the 68–71°F range (93% combined implied probability), reflecting current National Weather Service and private forecast guidance showing a high near or slightly below the 1991–2020 climatological average of 70.8°F.** Onshore northwesterly winds of 10–30 mph, driven by the typical Pacific high-pressure setup and coastal marine layer, are advecting cooler air and suppressing temperatures despite September’s seasonal peak. Recent model runs and observations indicate mostly sunny skies with minimal cloud cover, supporting a peak in the upper 60s to low 70s. A sharp cooldown followed the extreme 94°F reading on September 9, with highs of 76°F on the 10th and continued moderation under persistent westerly flow. Historical analogs for post-heat-wave September days in San Francisco rarely exceed 75°F without offshore wind reversal, keeping the 72°F+ tails at low single-digit probabilities. Resolution will hinge on the official maximum reported by the downtown or airport station; no significant model disagreement or late-day warming signal has emerged to shift the market away from the near-normal 68–71°F bin.
