**Trader sentiment for the highest temperature in Los Angeles on September 13, 2026, centers on the 78–79°F bin (59.5% implied probability) and 80–81°F bin (26.0%), reflecting consensus forecasts from official and private sources for a high in the upper 70s to low 80s.** Morning marine layer and low clouds, driven by onshore southwest flow typical of coastal Southern California in mid-September, are limiting rapid warming, with clearing expected later in the day under partly cloudy skies and southwest winds around 10–15 mph. This setup aligns with the long-term average high of 76.4°F at Los Angeles International Airport while allowing modest exceedance if afternoon insolation strengthens. Recent observations show the city emerging from a hotter early-September period that included a 99°F reading on the 9th, but current National Weather Service and model guidance indicate stabilization under the marine influence, keeping extremes below 82°F unlikely. Traders are weighting real-time forecast updates and early-day temperature trends heavily, as the resolution hinges on the official daily maximum recorded at the primary station.
