Matthew Dellavedova holds a substantial edge as the higher-ranked Australian (ATP 339, career high 334) with multiple ITF titles and consistent professional experience on hard courts. The 26-year-old has shown strong recent momentum, including a three-peat in Japanese M15 events and solid results in Brisbane Challenger qualifiers earlier in 2026. Jeremy Zhang, a 20-year-old college player at Illinois with an ITF singles ranking near 1418, brings limited professional match experience and relies primarily on junior and NCAA results. On outdoor hard, the age, ranking, and tour-level exposure gap positions Dellavedova as the clear consensus favorite in trader pricing, though Zhang’s youth and potential for improved fitness could create variance in an ITF-level encounter.
