Tan, seeded seventh with a wildcard and around No. 200, advanced past Alice Robbe amid home-crowd support on indoor clay in Rouen, France, where her baseline game could thrive despite Wang's superior Elo rating and recent Auckland final run. No head-to-head history exists, leaving stylistic matchup—Wang's powerful righty game versus Tan's steady defense—and potential fatigue from quick turnaround as key variables for trader consensus on this WTA 250 qualifier.
