Kris Mayes holds a clear lead in trader pricing for the November 2026 Arizona Attorney General election as the Democratic incumbent seeking a second term. Recent August polling from multiple firms shows her ahead of Republican nominee Warren Petersen by margins ranging from 3 to 8 points among likely voters, with notable strength among independents. Petersen secured the GOP nomination in July after defeating Rodney Glassman in a costly primary. The race remains competitive in the battleground state, where Mayes previously prevailed by fewer than 300 votes in 2022, and undecided voters plus turnout patterns could still shift outcomes before Election Day.
