Nicole Cannizzaro secured the Democratic nomination for Nevada Attorney General after defeating State Treasurer Zach Conine in the June 2026 primary, positioning her as the frontrunner in the November 3 general election against Republican Adriana Guzmán Fralick. Cannizzaro's background as a former prosecutor and longtime Senate majority leader has contributed to her stronger market positioning in this open-seat race, following term-limited incumbent Aaron Ford. Fralick, who advanced past Danny Tarkanian with former President Trump's endorsement, brings extensive state government legal experience including roles at the Cannabis Compliance Board and as general counsel to a prior governor. Nevada's recent statewide voting patterns and the absence of major late-breaking developments in the past month have sustained the current implied probabilities, though the general election campaign remains early with potential for shifts from candidate events or national political dynamics.
