This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Helsinki Vantaa Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 9 May '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Helsinki Vantaa Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/fi/vantaa/EFHK. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official observations from the Finnish Meteorological Institute at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport confirm the highest temperature on May 9 reached exactly 14°C during afternoon hours under partly cloudy skies and light winds, driving the market's 100% implied probability for this outcome. This aligns with pre-event consensus from numerical weather prediction models like ECMWF and GFS, which forecasted mild highs in the 13-15°C range amid a cool northerly airflow over the Baltic region typical for early May, where climatological averages hover around 14°C. While inherent measurement uncertainties exist, realistic challenges would require a post-validation audit uncovering sensor errors—highly improbable given FMI's rigorous quality controls and real-time data validation. Traders await no further updates as the market nears resolution.
