Recent National Weather Service and private forecast models indicate Miami highs on September 9 will likely reach the upper 80s to low 90s under a humid easterly flow with afternoon thunderstorm chances of 40-60%. These conditions typically allow temperatures to peak in the afternoon before convective cooling, consistent with the historical September 9 average high near 90°F at Miami International Airport. Trader emphasis on the 90-91°F bin reflects recent daily readings in the low 90s and model consensus around that range, while lower probabilities for 92°F+ account for storm timing uncertainty and the modest chance of earlier cloud cover limiting peak heat. Updated NHC and local office guidance tomorrow morning will refine the exact maximum before market resolution.
