Recent forecast guidance from regional models points to a modest chance of 32–33°C highs in Panama City on September 9, driven by variable cloud cover and scattered thunderstorms that could suppress afternoon peaks or allow brief clearing to push temperatures higher. High humidity near 80% and light northwest winds limit radiative cooling overnight while favoring convective development typical of the late wet season, keeping most runs clustered around 29–31°C unless drier air intrudes. Historical September maxima average near 30°C, so traders are weighting the latest model consensus and any shifts in steering patterns ahead of final National Meteorological Service observations that will resolve the market.
