Latest forecasts from global and regional models indicate a high near 30°C in Wuhan on September 20 under partly cloudy skies transitioning from current overcast conditions, supporting the market's tight clustering around 29–32°C. Key differentiating factors include variable cloud cover modulating solar insolation, northeast winds limiting warm advection from the south, and boundary-layer humidity influencing daytime heating rates amid the humid subtropical regime. Historical September averages near 28–30°C provide context, while model uncertainty in exact clearing timing or localized convection keeps lower and higher outcomes viable. Updated China Meteorological Administration guidance and ensemble runs expected in the next 24–48 hours could refine trader-implied probabilities ahead of resolution.
