National Weather Service forecasts from the Peachtree City office project a minimum temperature near 70–72°F for Atlanta on September 20 under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies, light easterly winds, and dew points in the low 70s that limit overnight radiative cooling. High pressure ridging and unseasonable warmth with daytime highs in the low 90s set the stage, though slight model variations in cloud cover and boundary-layer moisture create uncertainty around whether readings dip into the upper 60s or hold in the mid-70s. Trader sentiment reflects this narrow spread, with the close split between 74–75°F and 65°F-or-below outcomes highlighting sensitivity to the final observed low and any late adjustments in guidance before midnight.
