Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model guidance point to partly sunny conditions with a marine-influenced high near 66–71°F for Seattle on September 21, driven by weak transient high pressure aloft and persistent onshore flow that limits afternoon warming. Light northwesterly winds and morning cloud cover from the Strait of Juan de Fuca region keep temperatures from exceeding typical late-September norms, while variable afternoon clearing introduces the narrow spread across the 62–69°F bins. Ensemble consensus shows low precipitation risk and modest diurnal ranges, with official resolution likely based on Sea-Tac Airport observations; any increase in marine stratus or earlier trough influence could cap the peak in the mid-60s, whereas stronger solar heating would favor the upper end of the range.
